1. Introduction
By booking a consultation, program, or service with Joya Nutrition, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
My mission is to support you with evidence-based, personalised nutrition and lifestyle guidance in a warm, respectful, and professional way.
2. Nature of the services
All services offered, whether in person or online, provide nutritional and lifestyle guidance, not medical care.
My advice does not replace medical diagnosis, treatment, or follow-up from a doctor or other licensed healthcare provider.
If you experience acute or serious symptoms, always contact your GP or emergency services immediately.
3. Online consultations
Online consultations can be incredibly effective but do have natural limitations.
By using online services, you acknowledge that:
The quality of the advice depends on the accuracy of the information you share.
Certain physical assessments cannot be performed online.
You remain responsible for providing complete and truthful information.
4. Your responsibilities
To ensure high-quality care, you agree to:
Share accurate, relevant, and up-to-date information.
Inform the Service Provider of any medical changes or diagnoses.
Take responsibility for your own choices and actions following the advice you receive.
5. Fees and payment
All prices are listed in EUR unless otherwise noted.
Payment must be completed before the start of a service, unless agreed otherwise.
International transaction or conversion fees (where applicable) are the client’s responsibility.
The Service Provider may suspend services if payment is late.
6. Cancellation & rescheduling
Appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance.
Sessions cancelled within 24 hours may be charged in full.
The Service Provider may reschedule in case of illness or unforeseen circumstances.
7. Liability
Joya Nutrition is not liable for damage resulting from incomplete or incorrect information provided by the Client.
Liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service.
The Service Provider is not responsible for medical, legal, or financial decisions made by the Client.
8. Confidentiality
All information shared during consultations is treated confidentially and will only be disclosed if required by law.
9. Complaints procedure
As a healthcare provider, Joya Nutrition complies with the Dutch Quality, Complaints and Disputes in Healthcare Act (Wkkgz).
The service provider is personally affiliated as a dietitian/healthcare provider with the Dutch Association of Dietitians (NVD) and is registered with the Klachtenloket Paramedici.
In case of a complaint, the client is encouraged to first discuss this with the service provider. If the complaint cannot be resolved mutually, the client may submit the complaint to the Klachtenloket Paramedici, which provides an independent complaints officer and access to a recognised disputes committee in accordance with the Wkkgz.
10. Intellectual Property
All materials, content, handouts, programs, and methods are the property of the Service Provider.
They may not be copied, shared, or used commercially without written permission.
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by Dutch law.
Any disputes will be submitted to the competent court in Amsterdam.
