my jOURNEY

Before I became a dietitian, I worked full-time as a model, a career that took me around the world, but also one that came with intense pressure, constant rejection and long periods of uncertainty. I spent years traveling between cities, juggling castings and jobs, never fully knowing when or where I’d land next.

In the middle of all that chaos and the expectations, the changing body standards and the unpredictable schedules, I realized I didn’t know how to take care of myself properly. I didn’t know what my body needed, or how to listen to it. I saw similar struggles all around me: people trying to control food or ignore it completely, often disconnected from their own needs.

At the same time, my interest in nutrition started to grow. I began to notice what people around me ate, how they nourished (or didn’t nourish) themselves, and the different cultural approaches to food and self-care. I became curious and not just about food itself, but about the why and how behind eating and health.

Eventually, that curiosity turned into purpose. I studied to become a certified dietitian so I could combine my lived experience with scientific knowledge and help others find a more sustainable, compassionate way to take care of themselves.
